Interview Followup?

So I had an interview, and it really is my first choice and I want to go there so badly. I wrote my thank you's and all that, but I still feel so tempted to email the director of admissions, the main contact I've had there, and reiterate how very much I want to go to this specific school. Is that annoying? 😕 Should I just leave them alone and let it go, or can anything be gained by showing that extra interest? It's so hard to just let go after the interview and feel like there's nothing more that I can do...
