interview for medicaid pa pharmacist position

hello,

Have an interview with UH for a prior authorization pharmacists and wondering if anyone could provide tips and how to prepare and expectations of the job. Being in retail since I graduated, now trying to transition to Prior Authorization .

Great boat to be in. I may not be in your particular state but here are some possibly useable tips.
1. Pull up the medicaid website and check for pharmacy related items such as...formularies..it is one formularies for all company?
Are certain population excluded? It is fee for service? Coordinated care? Any planned changes..example meaning how long are the contracts.
2. Read the jmcp article on best practice of pa..it came out either in july or august.

3. Key words in the interview...Evauluate Safety and efficacy while taking cost into considerations.
