yes, every school that's notified me has done it by email, except uconn who calls you.

Some status pages (UMich- the real U of M, for instance) will give you the interview notice before e-mail. Other schools (ex. Orgeon) still use snail mail, but I believe most use e-mail.

then there's wake forest, where you have to call for your invite.

How about hold for an interview? Do they e-mail you also? or do you have to check the status page to find it out?
