Hello everyone,

I was just wondering how good are the chances of getting a residency spot once you are granted an interview... I guess more like, usually how many candidates are invited for an interview on site per spot? Any comments are appreciated!! HAPPY TGIF!!

Usually 3-4 candidates per spot. So if they have 4 PGY1 spots they will invite 12-16 people to interview. So you have about a 30% chance.

Our program is interviewing 15 people for 3 spots so it's about 5 people interviewed for 1 spot. But it should also be mentioned that the way the match works, there are so many variables involved.
