interview w/o having paid sec fees

so today i called up temple, since i never heard from them. i never even received a letter telling me to send them sec fees. so the secretary told me that they actually send me an interview invite on oct. 3rd! she also wanted to do the scheduling with me. how is that possible? i thought they don't even look at your app w/o paying the fees. my gpa is really low by the way (2.95/3.1) and dat is 20/20/17.

hey delaram, were your printout mailed out? Did temple recieve your LOR's also? I'm in the same boat as you, AADSAS printout was mailed on sept 26, haven't heard anything from temple at all...

yeah, my printouts were mailed out mid august and they also received my Lor's a few weeks ago. I'm sure u'll get one, too, your stats are better than mine. i'm not sure if i should even bother paying them the fee...or would that just be rude?

Temple grants interview's without a complete file. the letter i recieved said i was a part of a small percentage of applicants who got invited before paying the fee. the letter asked me to send them the fee along with the secondary form. you should ask them to resend the package.

I got the same exact letter on monday. I had forgotten that I even applied there. I haven't sent them the application fee and I didn't even have my DAT scores sent there. I talked to them today and the guy told me they historically have to mail out 320 acceptance letters to fill their 120 slots. They send out 200 acceptance letters on December 1st.
