It seems as if the interview invites have ground to a halt. Why were there so many interview invitations early on, and now only a few?

I swear, this is like looking for a black cat in a dark basement at midnight...and the cat is not even in the basement!

I know what you mean. I got all of my interview invitations in the span of 2 weeks, and then none for about 3. I start getting depressed now when I check the mail.

I have no idea. I turned it in June 29th. I would say maybe early August?

I got 2 interview offers this week: Minnesota and SLU. They're coming. Just be patient.
