I included I won the intramural bench press contest, and schools and residencies liked that I wasn't all book.

Absolutely; many med schools have intramural sports. It think it helps make you look at least somewhat interested in sports/fitness; it really can't hurt. It's also a social activity since you have to do it with someone else....

Definitely add it if you have the space. Med schools want to see that you have a life.

Do med schools like to see documentation that you've participated in that sport?

For example, I enrolled in a tennis class at the CC I attended for one school year.

The university I'm transferring to does not offer a tennis class.

Would it look good to enroll in the tennis class at the CC again while taking pre-reqs at the university? Or should the CC just be a memory once I'm at the 4-year?

same here, i included that i won a few tournaments and one of my interviewers mentioned that he was really happy to see that...include it!
