I recommend Money Magazine for a beginning investor - good general articles which are not too technical- good surveys about well performing mutual funds. Also, buy the Wall Street Journal once each week for a buck and read cover to cover. Start investing as soon as you are out of medical school, even a starving intern - once you understand how money compounds over time - you will be stoked about investing.
