Hey guys...I've been invited to submit a secondary application for a few schools (UCSF, NSU and UA)...Is this a good sign??? Or does everyone get this???

I think it is a good think too (I got a couple of secondary). It makes you feel you made through the "initial cut." Have you been invited to ucsf? I heard from them about 3 weeks ago, but nothing yet.

Depends on the school.

At some, like Michigan, everyone gets one.

At schools like UCSF, the secondary really means nothing, just means that you met the basic basic requirements.

At others, like UW, you've been screened and are considered a competitive applicant if you've recieved a secondary, though this doesn't mean that you'll get an interview.

Again at others, like Maryland, it means that an interview invite is on its way.

So it really depends on the school.

everyone gets one from Nova but they don't ever get to work on it..👎
don't be too exited about getting secondaries if it's not like from Maryland like the previous poster said, but you know you want to finish it nice and quickly..👍
