Anyone feel like having an iPad mini was useful for clinical rotations?

I used it for some rotations. I found it useful since I could use my hospital's EMR on the laptop and could pull up lab values/imaging on the fly, as well as doing UW/Anki discreetly.

It can be handy if you already have one but I wouldn't go out and buy one solely for this purpose.

Thinking of getting it for residency.
Can be pretty useful to pull uptodate on rounds, pull up the emr etc. if you can take notes on it during pt interview, even better

I may be the only one to do this but I used it to anki during long rounds lol. Hid it behind my clipboard, presented when my patient came up, did anki for the rest of them.

Thought I was gonna use it and bought one. Didn’t use it and sold it

Bought one at the beginning of med school thinking I’d use it for rotations. Used it a ton the first two years for lectures, didn’t touch it during clinical rotations. They’re still kind of a pain to lug around with you and I never found it not easiest to just look something up on my phone.
