Hey Everybody, I was looking into buying an Ipod video. While video isn't the main reason I want it, it will be a nice plus. However, I have noticed that it is pretty picky about the resolution, codec's, etc. that it will accept.

The resolution it wants is 320x240. This is a 4:3 ratio. Will it play a file with a resolution of 320x180 (16:9 widescreen)? Thanks a bunch.

TP

P.S. - If you have a few free moments, I will send you a file with this resolution to try it out for me.

Google videora ipod converter if you dont want to buy the quicktime 7.0 pro for 30 bucks. I think for the most part it converts files into something that the ipod will recognize. That should help as far as resolution and codecs.

I've actually been just messing around with Adobe Premiere because I tried a few of these standalone utilites and they mess up the ratio!

BTW, I love that Metallica song Welcome Home
