Is a career in medicine right for me?

As it gets closer to the time I will apply to medical school, I start questioning more and more if I want to be a doctor. I hear about burn out among doctors. I also worry I won't be able to spend time with my family because of the demanding hours for doctors. I know these things I worry about are very far in the future since I am still an undergrad, but I want to love my profession and I'm afraid that I won't end up loving what I do. Has anyone thought about this and if so, how were you able to overcome these doubts?
