No, with the COVID-19 crisis, you'll be fine even with an early September test date.My mom had a health emergency this past weekend (this summer has been a nightmare so far). I was originally scheduled for the July 18th MCAT but with all of this happening, I'm worried about finishing studying and testing. I have been scoring in the 520s on AAMC full-lengths and have worked really hard to get to this point, so I don't want to lose it all now. So I'm considering pushing my MCAT to August 1 to give me more time to help my mom and finish studying effectively.
I asked my college pre-med advisor and she said having my score back on August 18th would be far too late and would effectively end my cycle. Is this true?
I have a 3.6 uGPA and 3.3 sGPA from undergrad, including 30+ postbacc credits with a 3.97 GPA. I just finished a SMP with a 3.96 GPA. I spent most of college doing a relatively unique activity for thousands of hours and won awards at the national level, so I think my activities will stand out. But will my application even be seriously considered (considering my grades) if the earliest I could be complete would be Aug 18?
I am verified on AMCAS with a throwaway school so I would just be waiting for my MCAT. Thank you so much
And for DO, the cycle is even longer
