You'll get your results in september. Its not really that late. But keep in mind you will have to do your secondaries, which may interfere with your MCAT studying. They are usually due in Oct/Nov/Dec. But you would want to get them in early.
August is late, but not *too* late. September would be too late for applying to some schools this cycle. So, just study hard and do well in August. The better you do on the MCAT, the less impact being complete later than others will probably have on your application overall.
i dont mean to be pessimistic, but august 6 is late. you can still apply and your application/scores will still techinically arrive before the deadline, but a lot of med school will already be doing interviews while youre still working on your secondaries.
