i am taking a grad level physio course, and the course textbook is guyton. i am primarily doing the course to prepare for med school, so based on recommendations of many med students I am reading constanzo. But some of the stuff discussed in lecture and pictures of guyton are far more complex than constanzo. guyton just seems to have much more intricate details as compared to constanzo.

does guyton have far more information than constanzo? which is a better text for med school?

Sorry, this in no way answers your question...

but I couldn't help but think of Seinfeld when I read the thread title

Guyton is far more detailed than Costanzo, and therefore harder.

Personally I prefer Guyton because he gives you the entire picture, but Costanzo will probably do for most purposes.
