Hello! I am currently in my freshmen year and so far I am enrolled in only 13 units this winter. These 13 units consist of a pass/no pass class on Safety and Ethics for lab/research work and 3 graded classes. I want to take more units to ensure that I can get a good enrollment window for the spring quarter and successive quarters. However, I don't think I can handle another GE in addition to my current schedule. Would taking another pass/no pass class in something like public health disparities be looked upon negatively? Would I be a joke for taking 2 pass/no pass classes in one quarter? Also, will pass/no pass classes lower my AMCAS GPA even if I get a pass?

Doesn't matter. During my sophomore year I took all but 2 classes P/NP because I hadn't figured out I wanted to be pre-med yet and I could.
