tldr; Stanford (UG) making tuition free for families earning <125K

Is there any chance of at least 1 medical school doing this? Or is there a better chance that 1000 residency spots are added?

(I know it will never happen, but this could be very helpful to people who are smart but can't afford upper education)

Highly unlikely for medical schools. They know you can pull out loans, and be making enough as an attending to pay them back. So they have better reasons to put the money elsewhere such as research or residency spots.
