Is it fine to quit even if I projected hours to august?

I thought I’d be ok working till before I matriculate but I’m tired of the commute of my current job and the pay is bad. I want to quit and look for a job closer to my home that pays better (most likely not healthcare related).

Is it ok even tho I projected out? I’d be 500-800 hours short of the projection.

I doubt it. You changed your mind. Things change. And I highly doubt doing that job is mandatory for you to go to med school.

Do whatever you want that makes you happy with minimal stress until your matriculation. They will not rescind your acceptance for something like this.
