Hi, I'm considering going to med school in Italy/Hungary and I was wondering what I should expect during the process of getting a job in the UK with an Italian/Hungarian MD. I heard it's a lot easier to get a job in the UK than in the US or Canada. I have a south korean citizenship but I'm graduating high school in Canada this year. <- it's just to give you a bit more info about me!

thanks!

Some friends of mine told me that Europe is more loyal to international job applicants, but I'd say that it often depends on your diploma: if you graduated from a Canadian college, for example, it's better to look for job opportunities in Canada. The same about the UK and so on.
About the UK - you should know some moments:
  1. you need to hold registration with a license to practice from the GMC;
  2. you need to pass both parts of the PLAB test within the past two years;
  3. you need to complete an internship (but it's a general requirement for the majority of countries, as I know).
