I'm *not* trying to start any arguments here, but just something I noticed...

with it being the time of year for people to hear about med/dental school acceptances/rejections, it seems as though there is a sudden interest in dentistry by many pre-meds.

Just thought that was interesting. :)

Hey simseema,
I am not sure if you were referring to my MCAT/DAT question....but, for arguments sake, I am not one of those 'MS to DS applicants'. (I start medical school in fall)

I asked the question because my fiance plans to take the DAT and apply for 2003 admissions. I have taken the MCAT ...found the time constraints troublesome...and thought the DAT would be similar. His sister (who graduates NYU dental this spring) keeps telling him the DAT is easy ...she studied less than a month and did really well. He thinks he'll do the same and says, in his defense, "It's not the MCAT". I wanted other opinions, a comparison or something to get his ass in gear and prepare for this test....he's a major procrastinator!!!

Anyway, I felt the need to explain the reason behind the question. Thanks.
