I had an intervieww at FSU 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything: no acceptance, rejection, or even waitlist. Is it a bad idea to call and ask what's going on?? Oris this not unusual and it'd be a bad idea to push the issue????

Thanks!

I don't know what FSU's normal turnaround time is, but I think 2 weeks is a bit early to be worrying. I would wait a little longer before worrying. Have you sent a thank you letter after your interview? That is usually the first line of communication after the interview. If not definitely do so. If you have done that, I think that is all you should do at this point. I would wait until they get back to you before you call them, because I think that would border on pushing the issue at this point. Just my opinion though. Good luck! 😀

Don't call after just two weeks, schools are quite busy at this time and will take longer to get back to you. Even a 4-8 weeks is not unreasonable to not hear from a place if its rolling.

Hope that Helps

I would also wait a bit longer. I interviewed in Jan. and I had to wait until mid-April to find out. It seemed like ever and they kept pushing back the time when they were going to send out letters. Also, I agree, if you have not sent a thank you note, do it.

when you were at the interview, did you ask what the timeline may be to hear back? I would not call after two weeks unless they guaranteed feedback. I would wait until NLT 8-10 weeks before calling.
However, for my #1 school, I was told 6-8 weeks. After hearing nothing after 10, I finally called--I am glad because I received an acceptance--just need to get offical letter in mail.
Best of luck!
