    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if someone who has 3.5 g.p.a and 27 could possibly get into a top 20 school like Columbia or Mount Sinai? I have lots of volunteer work hours and some research experience. I really want to get into a school in NYC. Thanx every1.

A 3.5 and 27 is below the mean at any of the six New York City medical schools (Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Sinai, Einstein, and Downstate).

Where did you go for college? Was your MCAT breakdown fairly even (9, 9, 9 or 10, 9, 8)?

    Tim of New York City.
