I recently read that post regarding Stanford Med. I seems like a very interesting program and it is very attractive.

I recently got me MCAT scores back and I did well, (above their average) and I am wondering if I should apply. My GPA is also above their average, but I am wondering if it is too late.

Would I be throwing my money away?

no, you still have a shot. you're about on schedule.

ha ha. I know that I am very VERY late. Will they look at the fact that I applied on the last day and get pissed?

They won't even start offering interview until the end of November. Go for it!

Does Stanford screen for their secondary?

This year, they do not screen. However, they have screened in previous years.

Their admission is not rolling, so it's not too late.

I am glad to hear they aren't rolling. I applied and haven't finished their secondary and just thought that I might be a little late to do it. Now that I hear this I will still go for it. Thanks.

Stanford sent me an e-mail telling me to hurry up and send in my application because THEY ARE rolling admissions.
