Is it late if you secondaries get turned in about mid Nov(meaning to get to interview stage and get accepted) ? Thanks...

yeah it's late, but it's not TOO late...if you think your application is strong all around, you should go for it. just think about whether or not you want to go through this process twice in case it doesn't turn out the way you want it to.

keep in mind that lots of schools of varying caliber have rolling admissions, so even if they love you, you might just be interviewing for the wait list.

good luck with your decision!

It's definitely not too late...it puts you at a disadvantage at some rolling schools, but people still get accepted at this stage. I applied even later than you (completed my secondaries in December) and I am in medical school now. 😉

Thanks for your kind and hopeful words.... 🙂

Anyone else with similar circumstances who got in?

I know people DO get accepted with applying late, but last year I wasn't one of them. Last year my secondaries weren't complete until beginning/mid-November. Not one interview. Not one acceptance. I'm reapplying this year. I'm a non-trad, tho, with pretty average recent numbers (but outstanding experience) and horrible 20 year old grades to overcome. So far this year I've had better luck by applying early.
