Medical Is it worth applying to non-medical (IB) internships?

Investment banks are talking about internships at my university. Is it worth it for a premed such as myself to apply? Does anyone know if it's possible to do something medical-related during the internship? I'm a freshman and I'm particularly knowledgeable regarding the field of investment banking, but it seems interesting - it would be even more interesting if it is related to health care in some way.

That sounds like a cool opportunity, but do it for you. If you are only doing it for medical school apps, I would pass.

If you like investment banking, it's a great opportunity. If you don't, I wouldn't bother. This is not an opportunity that is likely to be a great boon in terms of getting into medical school.
