finished taking some extension classes in march to finish prereqs and havent been able to find a job since then.

GPA is on the low end. I would apply to like 3 MD schools and the rest DO? Is there anything you can do to raise GPA?

As long as you are not picky, you will probably get in somewhere. Make sure you apply very broadly.

i know I shouldnt be picky but location is a huge factor for me and I really feel I need to be in or near a major metropolitan area. Schools in cities like Philadelphia, Boston, Houston, New York, and any California schools tend to have higher stats and I'm afraid my GPA has basically ruled me out of schools in any of those cities.
