Is it worth it to look at MSAR 2008-2009 to make decisions on which schools to apply to?

Yes, the latest MSAR is newly designed and updated. I had the 2008-2009 one too, but then when I got the new one, it was light years better. It's only $25 if you order it directly from the AAMC.

there is also an excel sheet floating around somewhere on here with data from the latest msar

but honestly $25 is nothing compared to what u'll be spending on applications so suck it up and buy the book
