JMICK101- Yes, you are correct! You would be commissioned when you take the Scholarship, so you start accruing "time for pay". Since you already have 3 years of enlisted active duty, when you finish school, you'll have 6 years for pay. This time in school does not count towards retirement or your 8 year contract, ( 3yrs active- 5yrs IRR or Reserve). So, you would be an O-3E with 6 years for pay.
