Is NYU REALLY done interviewing?

I'm interviewing there next Tuesday, so I would have to answer "no" on this. I did hear from the grapevine that they'll be done mid-Feb.

Thanks isa. I'm hearing from folks that Feb 15th is their cut-off and I just wanted to verify that

There was a thread a little back on 1/11/02 (I only remember the date b/c I got my wisdom teeth out that day.) Someone said they got an invite from NYU and that 2/15 was the last day. But then Bebe2 (I think) called the office and NYU said they would be interviewing well into March. Hopefully, those two individuals will clear up the mess.

If you look on interview feedback.com, the last day is always mid feb. They arn't in AMCAS, so they are not delayed.

The small white piece of paper included as part of the folder you get on interview day states:
"We expect to send a few letters of acceptance to candidates by Jan 15th, but the bulk of the decisions will be mailed on Feb 15th. A waiting list will be determined in March...."

SO, while they don't explicitly state the last day of interviews, it would be smart to guess that they end sometime around Feb. 15. However, you can interpret this in any way you want.

Thats the problem - A couple of people on here have mentioned that NYU have already booked up interviews up to that date....which makes sense as we're only 3 weeks away from that date.

Hmmm...Here's what I know. Scooby said that when he called to schedule an interview, he was told that 2/15 was the last day. Bebe and I kind of got a little spazzy about this info, and Bebe called and was told that all interview decisions have not yet been made and that they would be interviewing well into March. I called last Thursday (1/17) and was told that [my app was late to be complete (12/14)] it was under review, and that I was welcome to call back this Friday to get an answer over the phone as to whether or not I would be offered an interview.

So, my understanding is that NO, they have not yet extended all of their interview offers, but they are probably pretty darn close...seeing as how mine wasn't complete until 12/14 (3 weeks before the deadline) and they are in the process of looking at it. I would venture to say that they'll be done extending offers in the next 3 weeks or so, but that's only speculation.

Don't know if that helps or not!

When I called for my interview scheduling they said that the 15th was the absolute last day of interviews. I don't know why they would lie. I asked them if I could have a later interview than that date but they said they were done interviewing as of that date.

Got some bad news. I called NYU today. This time I spoke with a woman. She says they are done granting interviews.
