Is the 2006-2007 DAt book sufficeint?

I have already take the Dats last year and received an overall of 17.... I memorized the Kaplan book. This summer I am studying again and my game plan is to go back to my text book and read the parts that are covered in the kaplan book. The texts book are soo much too read. Am I approaching this the right way?
