Is the ExamKrackers complete package any good?

Especially the books on each subjects? Is it better than TPR or Kaplan?

They are great. I would advise to also use other resources if you feel that you don't understand certain areas after using EK. I really haven't heard anyone complain about EK and I love it.

I loved EK complete.

I took my last biology course in 1994, and I am not any good at physics...and I got a decent MCAT score with the EK materials.

I think the EK books are too summarized...they keep telling you "you dont have to memorize this on the mcat" etc...
but i saw a few questions pop on the april test that asked for such info

EK is great (I have the whole set). 😀 I wish that I had heard about it before I took the MCAT in April.

What kind of stuff popped up in the April test? I want to know what areas need more work.

Genetics for sure. My April MCAT had ALOT of genetics.

After using TPR 2x, I can say EK was the thing that got me over the MCAT hump!!! Long live EK!!!!

i used EK complete and the Audio Osmosis, and was VERY satisfied.

I used them for about 4 months before starting a Kaplan Class, and then in conjunction with a lot of the Kaplan materials once my class had begun. I felt the were more concise than the Kaplan material, and I did not feel like there was anything on my April exam that was not covered by EK.

I got a 35R. Sure, its not a 40, but its certainly enough for me.

how did you do on your mcats?

I got 13 BS 12 VR 11 PS. I was super happy to have my PS that high, because it had really been a weak spot. As far as my scores in the other two, I was a bio major in college, and verbal was never a problem for me. But I firmly believe that EK is the reason I did as well as I did on the gen chem stuff. I didn't review with anything else.

I looked a lot for the Ek on the net, but it seems to be really expensive... way above 100$. Where can I get the package for a reasonable price?
Until now, I am using The Golden Standard from Brett Ferdinand. Is it a good book?
