Is there a list that says which schools use PBL vs. lecture?

I'm looking for an easy way to see which schools use PBL vs. lecture vs. a combination of both? The MSAR descriptions aren't always clear on what the breakdown of each type of learning the school uses. I definitely don't want a school with all PBL, but I think I would like a combination of lecture and PBL. Thanks!

i dont believe such a thing exists. some schools might use more pbl/less lecture than others.....but you're going to have some lecture and lab instruction at any school that uses pbl or not.

Word to your mothers...

DW is right...there aren't any schools that are exclusively PBL or exclusively lecture. There is usually a varying combination of both depending on the school.

Some schools have more PBL than lecture and some schools have very minimal PBL. Northwestern only has about 2 hours of lecture a day and we have a lot of PBL. Pitt also has a lot of PBL. Stanford is lecture heavy from what I remember from my interview.

The only exception I can think of is Drexel's PIL track(or is it their IFM track?). The PIL track is solely PBL. I can't imagine learning that way. I would feel like there was no structure. I'd worry about gaps in my knowledge.
