Is there an "MSAR" of residency programs?

I searched a few forums but didn't find much. Is there a book or website that compiles all of the residencies and their statistics? As someone who is unsure of what field/location I'd like to go into, I'm particularly interested in seeing average board scores for each residency.

Agreed. You have to do your own research on this. Besides, there are so many residency programs that it would be a very large book.

The NRMP dara tables will give you info on average board scores, etc by specialty (which you may find useful) but there is no MSAR type of listing by program for each specialty.

As always, I suggest choosing your specialty based on what you are interested in and what your faculty can advise you that you are competitive for.

Try FRIEDA from the AMA. That's probably the closest thing. Be aware that some of the information may not be the most up-to-date, but some of them do link to the program website.

It's a good first start to see what programs are available in the geographic and specialty area you want.
