Is there such a thing as too many LORs?

I am planning to get 3 LORs from science professors and 2 from doctors (one of who is a dentist). An athletic coach at my college agrees to write me a LOR if I need one; I am a team manager on a Division I sports team. Are 5 or 6 LORs too many?!

I wouldn't recommend sending any more LOR than they ask for. Sending more may annoy them.

I solid LOR list would be 3 instructors from a pre-req class. One from a dentist that you shadowed/worked for and if you wanted a fifth, make it from an oganization leader that you did volunteer work for.

Can't go wrong with that.
