Scenario:
Is this trend a problem?
Freshmen GPA: 3.91
Sophomore GPA: 3.85
Junior GPA: 3.76

cGPA:3.84 sGPA:3.89

Senior GPA: hopefully higher than 3.76 lol

I believe the 3.76 is still pretty strong, but its a downward trend... or is it?

IMO that's not significant at all. You are just neurotic.

yes...they will see how bad of a downward trend that it is and throw out your 3.84cGPA...it is now unimpressive and comparable to a 3.0. Sorry

That's what I thought, but then I was like... everyone on this forum has an upward trend and I'm the only dumb*** thats dropping... 🙁

whoknows.. thanks for being straight up haha 😛

Just a little nervous cause it looks bad on paper (compared to everyone else)... 🙁

Calm down. I've been dropping ever so slightly the past two years because my courses have become much harder.

I think if anything, ppl with high GPA's experience more of a slight downward trend as classes get tougher soph, and esp junior yr. Sr yr depends on the courseload because for me senior yr was the easiest, but if you've got a tough courseload, +applying for med school/attending interviews it is understandable to have a slight downward trend.

This. Freshman year is by far the easiest, so after destroying intro classes it's understandable to drop a bit later when things actually get tough.
