SDN members,

Not too long ago, i had a question concerning simple blue/pink collar jobs and their role in your application. I was provided with a lot of good information! I am very appreciative of that.

However, I was curious about one thing: When applications ask for leadership, is leadership that is voluntary the one that is preferred? Could being something like a manager in a pink collar service be leadership in the eyes of admissions committees?

I appreciate any and all feedback, and thank you for taking the time to read my question.

Personally I think leadership in 'real world' jobs shows a lot more, well, leadership skills than being vice-president of premed club#120333

Both count as leadership, but i suppose what you do in each role actually is what matters more.
