Hi all,

I currently work in a neuroscience lab where I do neuro-imaging experiments on subjects that include psych patients. While I regularly interact and can smell the patients, the lab isn't in a hospital and it isn't a clinical setting. Would this still be considered clinical experience?

Thanks in advance!

Are they patients receiving treatments or diagnostic or preventive services? Or are they research subjects (aka research participants?) Just because someone has a chronic illness doesn't mean that they are a "patient" in every interaction they have. This is research. You can't really count it as a clinical experience.
