Is this LOR written too early?

I am going to graduate in May. if I ask professors to write my LOR now and have it sent to Interfolio and I don't apply until summer of 2008 for the 2009 application cycle, is it a problem that my letters would be written too long ago?

Oh yeah, but you should probably get just ONE LOR close to the time you apply, and by all means get the rest now. Med schools just want to know that you still have the same academic ability at the time you submit your application, and ONE recent LOR will suffice for that.

ask him/her to date it for jan 2008. but either way you shoudl have no problems
