Is Yale still interviewing?

At this point I've all but given up on the Yalemeister, but out of curiosity, does anyone know when they stop giving out interview invites or when their last interview date is? Now that Harvard and Penn are both in the past, it would be nice to get some closure on Yale (like, know with 100% certainty that I will never have to live in New Haven).

I don't have an absolute answer, but my guess is they interview through the end of February, and I know for sure they interview through mid-Feb. Dean Silverman said the adcom buckles down in March to hash out their final decisions, and they will give notice most likely at the end of March.

I don't know if invites are still going out, but someone from my school is interviewing there on 23 FEB 04.

Alright, I just called Yale to get the official scoop.
They will be sending out invites till the end of Feb, and with a few in early March.

I couldn't get anything out of them about the status of my app though, heh. I guess it is just a waiting game now.

my student host interviewed on march 11 last year, got in march 15 (with everyone else... AMCAS rules req all schools to have at least 100% of their spots offered by march 15).


aside: i cannot wait until march 15 b/c yale rocks.

can you guys suggest a way of possible increasing my chances? is there anything i could go at this point?

uhh..... not very? esp. considering that the people posting on this thread have not yet received interviews from the school... i would put it at the lower end of the SDN arrogance scale.

Yes, the invites will be going out at least till the end of Feb.

Just to be annoying, IrishOarsman's host (probably one of my classmates) couldn't have gotten in on March 15 last year, because we all heard on March 19. Not that it matters.

Sorry, I might have gotten the dates confused but I am relatively certain that his story involved less than a two week (i thought even shorter) turnaround...
