What does isopropyl look like on proton NMR? Also, anyone else know of any key groups that are tested over on the dat aside from ethyl and methyl on the proton nmr?

The isopropyl group will appear as a doublet and a multiplet {septet } in the proton NMR. The ethyl group will appear as a triplet-quartet in a compound such as diethyl ether. Here is what I want you to do,,, draw out the following molecule : 2-pentanone. Starting with C-1, the Proton NMR signals will be singlet, triplet, multiplet, triplet. That should help.
