Woke up this morning to an article in Stars and Stripes. I guess it's like the tv show Dallas, it was all a dream.

A nurse isn't a surgeon, no chicken on the AMEDD crest, no medical break through called the performance triad and Kevin Kiley is in charge.
In the article the "TSG" states military medicine is no longer more advanced than Middle Eastern and Eastern Europe.
"Kevin Kiley, surgeon general of the Army, said the program has been used only rarely in recent times. In previous decades, when American medicine was more advanced than what was available in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, bringing foreign officials to Washington for treatment was more common."
Perhaps we are 10 years in the past when General Kiley was the TSG or maybe it was just a typo and we have a Freudian Slip by nurse surgeon admitting the decline of military medicine under her tenure.
