Woke up this morning to an article in Stars and Stripes. I guess it's like the tv show Dallas, it was all a dream.

http://www.stripes.com/news/europe/ukrainian-officer-is-rare-foreign-patient-at-walter-reed-1.336110

A nurse isn't a surgeon, no chicken on the AMEDD crest, no medical break through called the performance triad and Kevin Kiley is in charge.

In the article the "TSG" states military medicine is no longer more advanced than Middle Eastern and Eastern Europe.

"Kevin Kiley, surgeon general of the Army, said the program has been used only rarely in recent times. In previous decades, when American medicine was more advanced than what was available in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, bringing foreign officials to Washington for treatment was more common."

Perhaps we are 10 years in the past when General Kiley was the TSG or maybe it was just a typo and we have a Freudian Slip by nurse surgeon admitting the decline of military medicine under her tenure.

We get a significant patient volume from these "equal" hospitals in the Middle East that perform less than adequately when caring for very complex pediatric patients. Qatar is building a new, supposedly world class, children's hospital. Perhaps they will secure the talent to turn that trend around.

Looking at it, though, it looks like LTG nurse Horoho's term, in any case, will be up in 9 months (nearly 4 years already), unless there is something about "progress" and keeping her in the position longer than anyone else in the modern age.

Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight

I'm more of a 2pac fan...thus my handle. But "Juicy" is a song I point to explain what good rap looks like...and what's its not today.
