So, back when I filled out my AMCAS app in July, I applied to a bunch of different schools. Most were out of my league, but I digress. Anyway, I didn't send in the secondary app for one of the schools. I was just tired of writing essays and didn't really care for the school. I don't even know why I applied there in the first place. Anyway, I get their rejection letter today stating that since I didn't submit the secondary app, that I've been rejected. Well, that's all well and good, after all, that's what I was expecting since I never sent in a secondary. Anyway, what got me was the last line. It was something to the tune of, this action has been reported to AMCAS. I'm like why the hell does AMCAS even care if I submitted a secondary app or not? Anyone know if this is common?
