I am currently waitlisted at Jefferson. I was reading many of the posts on this message board and I noticed that a lot of people are accepted at Jefferson while holding multiple acceptances. I would have a favor to ask them: if they dont plan to attend, then please let the adcom know so the rest of us who really want to go there would have a chance to get off the waitlist. Also if anybody is in the same position as me, waitlisted at Jefferson, please post your story!

Well, I hope you make it in off the waitlist.

It's next Friday.

Is the seond look weekend for people who got accepted to the program already? Can we use this opportunity to request another interview or talk to the Dean?

I think it is for accepted applicants, where you get to meet some of the administration, faculty, financial aid staff, and also some of your future classmates.

I wouldn't wait to request to talk to the Dean. If you are really interested in a place, I think it is a good idea to try to make an appointment and ask what the weaknesses in your application are, and where you can improve. Also this is a good chance to stress that you are really interested in that school, and you get your face and your name put together in the dean's head....Maybe this means nothing, maybe when they are trying to rank the waitlist that person remembers YOUR name & puts you a little bit higher because of your meeting. I think at this point you have nothing to lose. The worst thing that can happen is to say no, right?

Good Luck.
