After reading posts by other members I have come to the conclusion that you can have a life outside of PA Programs. Is it possible to work in PA school? Even if only for a few hours a week? Even if it is just working at a gas station or nursing home 10 hours a week? If not, how can you afford to get by if you're single and have minimal savings? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

most of the folks in my program continued to work 10-20 hrs/week as paramedics/nurses/resp. therapists. it can be done. just work long shifts(10 + hours).I worked 2 12 hr shifts a week as a paramedic, tutored 1st year students, and taught acls and phtls occasionally.
