As I recall JHU requires 24 hours of humanities, social, and behavioral sciences. Does any current applicant know if freshman courses like English 101 (composition) or Communications 101 (i.e. fundamentals of speech) count toward this requirement despite the fact that they are freshman (i.e. introductory) courses? Thanks!

I'm sure the level of the class doesn't matter as long as they are part of those general categories. You can always call the admissions office though.

I tried calling in and neither of the phone receivers were sure about my question: Can AP credit count here? Thanks.
