Hey i have been getting conflicting info on Johns Hopkins. Do they use the MCAT or not? If they do how much is it weighted towards your acceptance? Any info......

Yes, JHU does use the MCAT. It is now required. Prior to this year, JHU did not require the MCAT. But once they joined AMCAS all that changed.

As far as how much weight they put on it, I'm not sure.
 
if you have the msar, you can read that they do require the mcat now, and as one of the top institutes in the nation, i am pretty sure that their average mcat is at least 33 or 34, they are also very big into research, and their average gpa is 3.7 or so.

their secondary is pretty cordial though, so they may look at some of the extra cirriculars more than other top schools.

they just seem pretty nice with respect to a lot of other schools, the secondary is only $60, and the dean of admissions even calls everyone that they accept to let them know. 😀
