Just wondering if anyone else heard back from JH on the summer program. I got a letter in the mail today saying I was accepted. Just wondering if anyone else is attending OR if anyone who has attended this program is the past could comment on their experience...

Thanks!

unrelated but, when did you interview? i want to get an idea of the timeframe and whether or not i should be expecting a mailing from them. i interviewed jan 13th and haven't heard a word...

i think you might be mixing up this program with something else....there are no interviews for this program--just an application. The summer instiute in anatomy is a program for undergraduate students who have completed at least their sophomore year. It lasts Jun 4th-June 30th and students obtain 4 credit hours. The class is designed to give pre-med students an idea of what to expect from med school anatomy; thus, pro-sected human cadavers are used in lab. It is quite a costly program so I wanted to hear from others who will be going or have gone on the pros/cons...

I did this program and it is incredibly worthwhile if you want to learn some med-school-like anatomy before actually going to med school. Its pretty rigorous though, so be ready for a good amount of studying if you want to make an A (and the inner harbor is pretty fun to go to after an exam...or before an exam...).

Sounds like a great opportunity....just kinda hesitant b/c of the large amt of dough they're asking for!
