What are you all doing to prepare right now? I am currently in a 2 month kaplan class that started on June 5. Im only going to miss one class. Main reason I am doing july 24 is so I have september just in case. Hopefully we get lucky and get a relatively easy MCAT that day. :D

I'm taking the exam July 24th as well. Right now, doing content review using Kaplan's review notes (took the course already), ExamKrackers subject books, and practice full-lengths starting June 15th. Study Study Study... Goodluck to us :D

Me too.

I am taking kaplan, and we are still hitting the content hard. I am going ahead a little though and working on some section tests, esp. verbal, and playing with the Qbank alot - i need alot of passage based practice.

Less than a month... scary! Nice AAMC exam scores.

I'm a little behind on the studying.

AAMC 3 (diagnostic): 27 (7/10/10)
AAMC 7: 30 (9/11/10)

kaplan just seems different - they have more calculations and denser passages but they end up curving a lot more leniently

aamc is slightly easier and less calculation based but the curve is more strict. i found the verbal on aamc8 to be hard but maybe thats just me

I have no kids- I cannot even imagine taking the MCAT as a mommy.

I am really nervous about the test even though my Kaplan scores have been pretty good.

Kaplan 3- 31
Kaplan 8- 30
Kaplan 7- 32

But I got a 22 on the real thing in April and I am skeptical about these apparent improvements- Im going to take AAMC 6 this weekend, I really hope it turns out to be in the 30s....

Got a 31 in my first FL from TPR Practice test A.
Anybody knows how it compares with Kaplan FL and AAMC?

i'm in the same boat - HATE verbal...i've gotten anywhere from 7-10, hopefully i can get a 10 on the real thing but i'd be happy with a 9

i'm buying the EK verbal book today and i'm going to do about 4-5 passages a day. EK verbal + Kaplan FL's + AAMC's should hopefully be enough to get my verbal up and consistent

I HATE VERBAL TOO
I dont have the EK book. I am just practicing from Kaplan and TPR. Do you guys think EK is absolutely necessary?

I took kaplan FL 5 and I just got my first 30! My score has been steadily rising.

PS 10 V 7 BS 13

This is wierd because I usually get 9's and 10's in verbal. However Kaplan's verbal passages are more dense and I felt rushed.
