June/early July submitters

Is there still hope for us? Is there anyone left who submitted late June/first week in July that has yet to be verified...i'm one of them in case you haven't figured it out. i'll be in the DC area in a little while..i feel like stopping by amcas to kick some a**...im so annoyed.

submitted 7/3. Nothing yet. Suggestion: Check with AMCAS for the date of completed file, not submission. The lady told me they filed our applications according to the date of completion. Take me for example: they lost my Berkeley transcript so I had to resend it, the 2nd one got there on 8/6, so she told me they'll take it as if my application is submitted on 8/6 now i doubt that they'll even take it as 8/6 submission, as a bug deleted the whole part of my berkeley info, so I had to recertify and resubmit again and again, guess that'll push my verification even later
do they have something against berkeley students?

Are any of you applying to Cornell or UPenn? They are waiting for verified apps to review files, which sucks since it puts me and other unverifieds at a disadvantage...I need all the help I can get!!

Submitted on July 6, nothing yet. The "specialists" told me an unverified paper copy had been sent to all my schools.

The University of Minnesota has given up and has asked for paper copies and MCAT scores and such.

Is there a website established regarding getting refunds from AMCAS? They certainly are not delivering what they promised.

Just got an email message from AMCAS. Actually, I sent two messages, and I received an answer to the second one first. So, I think their e-mail sorter must be the same as their application sorter. In any event, they claim that it is 6-8 weeks from the time the application is complete, for me that's July 30th despite the fact that I actually submitted on the 20th. However, if they actually get me verified by the end of this month, I'll be VERY happy.

July 6th. Nothing. I talked to the person in charge of Pre-professional advising at my school, hopefully she'll get back to me soon. but, my friend told me that she submitted in late july and got verified within a few weeks.

haven't heard anything from stanford, but i got cornell's secondary last week. they got tired of waiting for AAMC.

This is just to give some of you July submitters some hope. I submitted July 1 and have called amcas several times and have seen no results from them. However, last Wednesday I called and was told they were now doing late June/early July applicants. I told the guy I wanted to make sure mine was done and quickly, so he put me on the priority list. Just today, finally red X's, hopefully it won't be too much longer before the whole process is complete. I had to wipe my computer screen off to make sure of what I was seeing. To all you June/July submitters keep the faith and keep on amcas's @ss.

I submitted 7/7 and got the red X's last week, I was in total shock when I saw them. I just got the email saying that my app has been processed and verified!!
YEAH!
But its about time AMCAS!!
