I found an article about top 10 junk science stories of the last decade on another web forum and thought I'd share the list. It's pretty good.

2. Cell phones cause brain cancer
3. Power Lines cause cancer
4. Pesticides disrupt hormonal processes
5. Soot causes 10K deaths every year
6. Obesity causes 400,000K deaths each year
7. Bio-Tech scare (Mouse with human ear growing out of its back)
8. PETA: drinking milk makes for future felons
9. Cooking hi-carb foods like potatoes, bread forms acrylamide, a carcinogen in mice
10. and the mother of all junk science stories: Global warming.
I would add:
11. Breast implants cause autoimmune disorders. All they do is cause wood.
